Refund policy

Your satisfaction matters to me. This policy explains how I handle refunds, returns, exchanges, and any concerns with a service or product.

At Orchid Belle Beauty, I take real care with every service and every product I offer, and I want you to be happy with the result. The policy below sets out how refunds, returns, and exchanges work — and it always sits alongside, and never reduces, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

01 — Change of mind

My services and products are not refunded for change of mind. Because every appointment is booked and prepared for in advance, and products are selected and handled with care, I'm unable to offer a refund simply because you've changed your mind after booking or purchasing.

Where possible, I'm always happy to discuss an exchange or to apply the value to another service or product instead.

02 — If you're unhappy with a service

If something isn't right

I want every client to leave happy. If you're ever unhappy with a service, please tell me straight away so I have the chance to put things right — this is the quickest way for me to resolve it and ensure you're satisfied.

As per salon policy, I ask that you contact me first. Please don't try to redo the service yourself or visit another salon before speaking with me, as this voids my service guarantee and makes it much harder for me to assess and fix the issue.

03 — Products & returns

Products & returns

Products are not returned or refunded for change of mind. For hygiene and safety reasons, opened or used beauty and skincare products cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

If a product is faulty, please contact me as soon as you notice the issue, with your proof of purchase (such as your receipt or order confirmation), so I can assess it and arrange the appropriate remedy. Please keep the product and its packaging where possible, as I may need to inspect it before providing a remedy.

To start a return for a faulty product, contact me using the details below and I'll let you know the next steps, including how and where to send or bring the item. Please don't send a product back before contacting me first.

04 — Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and not refunded for change of mind. They remain valid for the services and products they were purchased for.

05 — Deposits & cancellations

Deposits & cancellations

A deposit is required to secure your appointment. If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, or don't arrive for a confirmed appointment, the 25% deposit is kept as a cancellation fee, reflecting the time set aside for you that I'm no longer able to fill at short notice.

Deposits are not refunded for change of mind, but remain on your account to be redeemed at a future appointment or against products and services. Extenuating circumstances will always be considered. Full details are set out in my Salon Policies.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

This policy does not limit your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes the guarantees, rights, and remedies you're entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law. My services and products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. If a service or product has a major problem, you're entitled to choose a remedy — and for services, that may include cancelling and obtaining a refund for the unused portion. For a minor problem, I'll repair, replace, or otherwise put it right. These rights apply regardless of the terms above, and the terms above operate only to the extent they don't conflict with them.
