Salon Policies
My goal is to provide a consistent, top-quality service to every client, every time. To help me do that, I ask that all clients assist with the following.
01 — Confirmations
Appointment confirmations
All clients are sent a confirmation email 48 hours prior and a message 1 day prior to their appointment, with the address included. There's no need to contact me unless your appointment needs to be changed.
Please read your confirmation carefully, or check your booking through your secure login in the online booking platform, to make sure you're booked in for the service you want — I only have time allocated for the service booked.
02 — Arrival
Appointment times
I ask that all clients arrive on time, as my goal is to give every client and every service 100%. Please keep in mind that if you're running more than 10 minutes late, I may need to reschedule your appointment, or may not have time to complete the whole service, in which case you'll need to make another booking.
If you're running early, please take a seat on the chair out the front and I'll be with you as soon as possible, at your booked time.
03 — Cancellations
Cancellations & deposits
As Orchid Belle Beauty is a busy studio that clients book in advance, I ask that any cancellations are made at least 48 hours before your appointment. This gives me a fair opportunity to fill your vacated spot.
If you've confirmed your appointment and then don't arrive at the appointed time, or cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, I keep the 25% deposit as a cancellation fee. This fee reflects a small fraction of the cost of the time set aside for you and I'm no unable able to fill at short notice.
Deposits are not refunded for change of mind, but remain on your account to be redeemed at a future appointment or against products and services. Please consider this when booking. (Extenuating circumstances will always be considered.)
04 — No-shows
Appointment no-shows
No-shows will lead to future appointments requiring full payment to secure the booking.
05 — Refunds
Refunds & service guarantee
I want every client to be happy with their service. My services and products are not refunded for change of mind, but I offer an exchange to ensure your satisfaction.
If you're ever unhappy with a service, please tell me straight away. As per salon policy, I ask that you contact me first so I have the chance to put things right. Please don't try to redo the service yourself or visit another salon before speaking with me, as this voids my service guarantee.
Gift vouchers are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and not refunded for change of mind.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service or product has a major problem, you may be entitled to a remedy (such as a repair, replacement, refund, or cancellation), and these rights cannot be excluded by any salon policy. The terms above apply only to the extent they don't conflict with those rights.
06 — Payment

I accept payment by cash, Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard, online payment and Afterpay
07 — In the studio
Client responsibility
For safety reasons, and due to the smaller space at the Orchid Belle Beauty home studio, I ask that wherever possible clients come alone to their appointments. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, as there are sharp and hot tools in use, and should not play on the furniture or equipment.
Please also note that personal items remain the responsibility of the client.
